We have been carrying out MOT tests for some 33 years, it is a spot check on the condition of your car but please remember it only goes so far in checking you cars safety.

Important things like taking the wheels off to check on the detailed condition of brakes etc are not  carried out, neither are many other important checks on the condition of your car.

There is an advisory sheet that we sometimes issue with an MOT pass certificate and this should be read in conjunction with your pass certificate.

Please note that as part of the MOT test, Diesel engines are run at high revolutions for sustained periods of time, it is important to be aware of the condition of your diesel engine, especially with regard to things like camshaft drive belts prior to having an MOT carried out.
